Substrand: "6.7 The solar system and the structure of the earth"

Subject: Primary Science Year: 6
Strand 5: Earth and Beyond

Substrand: "6.7 The solar system and the structure of the earth" (20 periods)

The sun, earth, and other planets and their moons make up the solar system. All planets orbit the sun and are attracted towards the sun by a force called gravity. Only some planets have moons and the moons orbit their respective planets. Earth has a unique structure and composition from the core to the atmosphere.
