Also, decisions must be made about exploiting resources, as some are renewable, while others are not. They understand how resources are unevenly distributed. They understand that the way people use resources impacts on the environment. They understand how people’s demands on resources affect the extent of resource use. They appreciate how decisions on the use of resources affect the environment. They will also explore ways in which economic systems are constructed to manage economic activities. They will find out how these systems can create opportunities and constraints for particular individuals, groups, enterprises and the nation. They develop their knowledge and appreciation of the nature of resources that are available in Solomon Islands. They appreciate how people can effectively manage and use resources to meet their needs and wants in a sustainable way.
