Strand 3: Environment and Population

This strand focuses on the relationship between the physical environment and the human population.
The continuous interaction between humans and the physical environment is important to ensure the sustenance of human beings on this planet earth. The aspects of the physical environment such as weather, climate, landscapes and natural landforms have a direct impact on the livelihood of the human population and their relationships. This strand also provides an understanding about population and its impacts on available resources.
