Substrand: "5.5 Natural Hazards" (10 periods) Natural hazards do occur thus people cannot avoid them. The effects are sometimes enormous, thus people have to find ways to respond to them. Hazards are situations that pose changes to peoples’ lives. Natural events frequently bring dangers to people who live in certain location and conditions. Natural hazards are events such as volcanic eruptions, earthquakes, river flooding, huge waves and landslides.
