Specific Learning Outcome(s)

At the end of this activity you should be able to demonstrate the following ability:

7.2.2.1 give examples of four (4) ethnic groups in Solomon Islands and describe their main differences
7.2.2.2 list some of the local nick- names for groups and discuss which of these show prejudice against the group ( kasi, gema, waku, a’u etc.)
7.2.2.3 state reasons for recent migration of some ethnic groups from outside Solomon Islands (Gilbertese, Europeans and Chinese [Asians])
7.2.2.4 examine a case study of one racial/ethnic group community in Solomon Islands
